Poetry

In her poetry Kasia Wojcik experiments with form, sound and meaning, traveling through landscapes and cartographies of the so-called soul and the societal and material collective. Dreetz Palermo is an anthology on the fringes of time and space, poetry to locate oneself, to point to the in-between, to find what is no longer there, somewhere between the Mediterranean and the German province of Brandenburg, the author collects fragmented pieces of herself and memory.

In her sound installations Werde Wasser and Exposure Kasia explores the experience of performing her written words, making them graspable in a new way for her audience. Experimenting with intermedia approaches (for example film), she understand the poetic form as a way to reflect our perception of the world and our existence.
